Automobili Lamborghini is celebrating its 63rd anniversary this week with a large-scale gathering at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, bringing together owners, collectors, guests and enthusiasts for a two-day event called Lamborghini Arena.
Scheduled for May 9–10, the event centers around the historic Imola circuit roughly 50 miles east of Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The celebration marks 63 years since Ferruccio Lamborghini officially founded the company on May 7, 1963.

While anniversaries are common in the automotive industry, Lamborghini has increasingly leaned into “63” as part of its brand identity. The number now appears throughout the company’s modern product strategy, motorsport programs and limited-production special editions.
That includes cars such as the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, which was limited to 63 coupes, along with the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63 and SVJ 63 Roadster models. The number has also carried into motorsport through the Lamborghini SC63 developed for endurance racing competition.

The company says Lamborghini Arena will bring together both historic and contemporary vehicles from across the brand’s history, effectively turning the Imola paddock and circuit into a large-scale celebration of the marque’s evolution from boutique Italian sports car manufacturer to global luxury performance brand.
The anniversary also highlights the continued importance of Italy’s Motor Valley region, where Lamborghini remains deeply connected to neighboring manufacturers, suppliers and racing venues. Visitors attending Lamborghini Arena will find themselves within driving distance of Ferrari in Maranello, Pagani in San Cesario sul Panaro, Ducati in Bologna and Maserati in Modena.

Lamborghini additionally pointed to the significance of “Giallo Maggio,” a yellow exterior color whose name references the month the company was founded. The shade has increasingly appeared in bespoke customer commissions through Lamborghini’s personalization programs.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, described the anniversary as both a celebration of the company’s history and a reflection of its future direction as the brand continues expanding hybridization across its lineup.
