Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn Returns as Design Centerpiece of 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed | 🇬🇧

The Goodwood Festival of Speed returns July 9–12, 2026, with the Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn continuing as its design-focused counterpoint to the hillclimb. This year’s concours d’elegance brings together more than 40 vehicles across seven classes, spanning early motoring through late-20th-century performance icons.

Static display and judged on Sunday, the Lawn prioritizes form, craftsmanship and historical context over outright performance.

Mercedes-Benz at 100: Coachbuilt Origins
A class marking 100 years of Mercedes-Benz focuses on pre-war coachbuilt cars. Built for private clients, these bespoke machines established the brand’s early luxury identity.

Koenigsegg: Early Hypercar Development
Pre-2010 models from Koenigsegg trace the company’s formative years, aligning with 30 years since its first prototype and 20 years since the CCX.

Dawn of the Motor Car
A collection of 19th-century vehicles documents the transition from carriage to automobile, including early petrol-powered designs and experimental self-propelled machines.

American Choppers and Custom Culture
1950s-era custom motorcycles highlight extended forks, chrome detailing and the intersection of engineering and personal expression.

Ghia at 110: Italian Design Influence
Celebrating 110 years of Carrozzeria Ghia, this class features key designs from the 1950s and 1960s that helped shape post-war styling.

Lamborghini Miura at 60
A dedicated display marks the 60th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, a reference point for modern supercar design.

1980s Homologation Specials
Road cars developed for motorsport homologation illustrate how racing regulations influenced design and engineering during the decade.
