Range Rover has opened a Bespoke Commissioning Suite in Mascot, Sydney, pairing private vehicle design consultations with a two-night stay at Capella Sydney. The experience gives Australian clients a dedicated setting to commission a personalized Range Rover, with hotel hospitality and transfers built around the appointment.
Available for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models in Autobiography and SV specification, the program brings clients together with Range Rover design experts to explore paint finishes, leathers, veneers and individual detailing. Options extend to custom embroidery, contrast stitching, precious metal accents and personalized insignia.
A STAY AT CAPELLA SYDNEY
The commissioning experience includes two nights at Capella Sydney, with access to the hotel’s Culturists to help personalize the stay. Return Range Rover transfers connect the hotel with the Mascot suite for the design appointment.
The arrangement makes the consultation part of a broader Sydney visit, bringing together the hotel’s focus on heritage, design and personalized hospitality with the process of specifying a vehicle.
AN AUSTRALIAN HERITAGE CONNECTION
To mark the opening, Range Rover is displaying its one-off SV Bespoke Pioneer 1972 alongside the historic vehicle that inspired it. According to the company, that original Davos White demonstration vehicle arrived in Australia in early 1970, ahead of the model’s commercial launch in 1972.
The contemporary commission draws on Mount Kosciuszko and the Snowy Mountains, with a custom white metallic finish intended to recall snow in sunlight. Inside, Caraway and Ebony leather accompany Natural Black Birch veneer, while embroidery references the mountain’s snow-covered peaks. Illuminated treadplates identify the vehicle as “Pioneer 1972 One of One.”
