Goodwood has confirmed the race programme for the 84th Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport, scheduled for April 10–11, 2027. The weekend will combine familiar fixtures with returning races and an all-new Bentley competition celebrating the marque’s earliest years in motorsport.
The new Benjafield-Davis Cup will make its debut on Sunday, bringing together vintage Bentley sports cars of the types raced between 1922 and 1930. The 20-minute race should provide one of the weekend’s more distinctive grids, recalling the period when the Bentley Boys established the British marque’s international racing reputation.
Also returning for 2027 are the Don Parker Trophy and Ronnie Hoare Trophy. The Don Parker Trophy is dedicated to 500cc Formula 3 cars, diminutive single-seaters known for close racing and extensive use of slipstreaming.
The Ronnie Hoare Trophy shifts the emphasis toward road-going sports and GT machinery from Ferrari, Porsche and Alfa Romeo, representing an era when cars closely related to those driven on public roads remained a prominent part of international competition.
Saturday’s programme will open several competitions that continue across both days. The Hailwood Trophy is the weekend’s sole motorcycle competition and combines classic 250cc and 350cc Grand Prix motorcycles with Formula 750 machinery. Results from its two races will be combined to determine the overall winner on Sunday.
The S.F. Edge Trophy similarly spans both days, putting pre-1919 Edwardian racing cars through a pair of five-lap contests. It remains one of the more unusual sights on the Goodwood Motor Circuit, demonstrating the considerable performance achieved by racing machinery built more than a century ago.
Touring cars are represented by both the Gordon Spice Trophy and Win Percy Trophy. The Gordon Spice Trophy is reserved for larger Group 1 touring cars of the 1970s and early 1980s, including Ford Capri Mk3s, Rover SD1s and Chevrolet Camaro Z28s.
The Win Percy Trophy caters to Group 1 touring cars of less than 2.8 litres from 1970 through 1982. Its 45-minute Saturday race will be divided between VIP drivers and owner/entrants before a second race on Sunday.
Saturday also includes the Moss Trophy, celebrating closed-cockpit GT cars from before 1963 and recalling the RAC Tourist Trophy races held at Goodwood between 1958 and 1962. Named for Sir Stirling Moss, the race recognizes a driver whose career remains closely associated with the circuit.
Sunday brings the return of the Gurney Cup, a 45-minute, two-driver competition for sports-racing prototypes from 1963 through 1966. Cars such as the Ford GT40 and McLaren M1A are expected alongside period machinery from Porsche, Lotus and Elva, making it one of the fastest grids of the Members’ Meeting weekend.
Rounding out the announced programme is the Salvadori Cup, named for Le Mans winner Roy Salvadori. Its 20-minute race is open to World Championship sports cars and production sports-racing machinery from 1955 through 1960, with expected entries including Lola Mk1s, Lotus 15s and Lister-Jaguar “Knobblies.”
The Members’ Meeting occupies a distinctive position within Goodwood’s historic motorsport calendar. While the Revival recreates the atmosphere of the circuit’s original 1948–1966 period on a much larger scale, Members’ Meeting is generally a more competition-focused weekend, with grids extending into eras and categories not necessarily represented at the Revival.
Goodwood notes that the individual races are now confirmed, though the weekend timetable remains provisional. The complete schedule and entry lists will be released closer to the event.
